Description: 

I’d like to develop a creative skillset that will nurture and develop a creative lifestyle, to include photography in digital and analog forms. Apply other genres of creativity i.e., watercolors, encaustic, acrylic paints, pastels, or any other mediums that will feed my creative self. This will be accomplished with pursuit of videos, books, projects, and critiques.

  • Apply lessons from Zen Camera as they arise i.e., taking 100-200 a week
  • Writing essays on topics that I’m inspired by from Zen Camera and AWAKE
  • Maintain website weekly with essays and photo galleries
  • Weekly photo assignments as taken from the Photographers Playbook
  • Participate in and mentor the U of S photography club
  • Weekly library visits to study photographers of interest

 

Where am I to start?

  • Shoot pictures everyday with either my phone or camera.  But have to shoot at least twice with my camera
  • Participate in the U of S photography club
  • Zen Camera and write about things I learn from it for the website
  • Lightroom and Photoshop Complete Course and Compendium of Feature books
  • Phlearn Photoshop and Lightroom course videos
  • Participate in the project of the week

 

The next post will be a list of things that I want to incorporate into my life.  Virtues, qualities, life skills, classes, books that I want to assimilate and practice in the coming year.  Some of it will be redundant, meaning that the books and videos above will be listed againBut this is meant to be a challenge for me to make major changes in my lifeAnd this list is the path that I’ve chosen.
